Five Question Friday - November 19th

1. What Christmas song do you loathe?

I can't think of any Christmas songs that I loathe.  Maybe the Chipmunks one - only because those Chipmunk voices are a bit annoying...

2. Do you and your significant other cuddle at night or sleep on opposite sides of the bed?

No cuddling here - not that I don't love him.  I just like to have my space at night.  Plus there are the two cats and one kitten that tend to sleep between us, especially in the winter.

3. Have you ever had surgery?

Yes, oral surgery and LASIK surgery.  That's it though.

4. When do you typically have your holiday shopping done?

I like to have it completed by December 1st or so, it helps me to relax and actually enjoy the holidays.

5. If money were not an issue (and you HAD to pick something), what would your ultimate luxury item be?

I'd probably buy a Cadillac Escalade, it would be great to drive around in large comfort.   Maybe a beautiful diamond necklace would be nice too - just for me!

Look at what other people have to say at Five Question Friday - it's fun!

Yay for the beautiful diamond jewelry and a nice sporty car for your luxurious items. I haven't heard chipmunk voices mixed in Christmas songs. Must be annoying indeed.

Hi Kim,

I think that's the realization I've come to...that I just like the planning myself. I really don't like following someone else's plan!!

What did you think of MFW, what are they like with the planning? Our co-op has been listening to some of his talks on DVD. Hearing about his family makes us all feel a little inadequate (my 8, 6 & 4 year-olds don't know any foreign languages yet nor do they know where they might want to serve in foreign missions....his kids knew all that stuff by now!!!) I hear their curriculum is pretty awesome though I've never had a chance to look through it myself. :-)

Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving your comment. I've promised myself and my kids we're going to start afresh in January. Less pressure, one unit at a time until we get back into practice!!

And I had Lasik too, when I was 19....truly, the first best thing I EVER spent my own money on!! I'm 27 now and still have better than 20/20 vision. :-)
